Carolyn Fletcher, DVM

My name is Amanda Mouradian and I graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. I have been practicing veterinary medicine in a variety of settings, with 4 years as a full time care provider in a critical care hospital, 4 years as a clinic manager and 7 more years providing sickness and wellness care for dogs and cats in a clinic setting. After all of these years, I have taken the leap to provide exceptionally personalized care for your furry family members in your own home.

In 2021, I completed my certification for Hospice and Palliative Care for dogs and cats. This training was over 150 hours of course work surrounding pain management, disease management, nutrition, family support and end of life care.

Animals have always made a meaningful impact throughout my life, and I've proudly been a veterinary technician for six years now to help make positive changes for them.

Bethany has been passionately working in the animal medical field for over 10 years. Born and raised in Chicago, she moved to New Mexico in Feb 2020 with her husband and their many pets. While in Chicago she worked 6 years as a vet technician doing physical and laser therapy. Working for Chamisa has been an amazing experience and has also given her the opportunity to get back into doing physical and laser therapy. She's earned her certification in laser therapy and is continuing education on the subject. Bethany and her husband love to foster pets, especially helping those with medical needs, and they hope to one day start a pet rescue of their own.

When I was a little girl my two passions were riding my motorcycle and helping animals. I was always bandaging and nursing my stuffed animals back to health after their numerous "accidents" they always seemed to have.
After High school, there was no college fund, so I took a job at Ark Veterinary Hospital as an Animal Assistant, which turned out to be the beginning of my beloved career. I worked for the Ark for 22 years until they closed their doors. I went to the SF Animal Shelter after that for a few months, but found myself really missing private practice. I then had a wonderful opportunity to work at Eldorado Animal Clinic where I worked for 8 years.

As most private practices are now becoming corporate, I realize that Veterinary Medicine is changing and therefore so am I. I decided to try my hand at human caregiving.

Once again, I found myself missing my furbabies.

Now I have found a wonderful opportunity working with Chamisa Veterinary Services. I feel extremely lucky to be working with such caring, knowledgeable Doctors and wonderful support staff.
It is now 34 years into my career as an Animal Technician and I continue to learn and grow every day.

Meet Our Team:

I am Wren Willow and I have been practicing acupuncture since 2004. Two decades later, I am still in love with this gentle medicine, addressing everything from allergies to digestive issues to managing and reversing pain. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to include our fourleggeds’ needs into my practice at Chamisa Vet. I consider the possibility of supporting the recovery from injuries and surgeries of our pets and making the lives of our elderly patients more comfortable an absolute privilege and I thank my patients’ stewards for their trust they bestow on me. I am looking forward to meeting you and your beloved pets in the future.
