How does a house call work?

Email or call to schedule for an in-home appointment. Our mobile vet services are especially convenient if the pet has difficulty leaving the house or getting in the car from fear or disability, or if vet clinic visits are particularly stressful. Most pets do better in the comfort of their homes.

WE COME TO YOU
The Veterinarian and their technician will arrive at your house at the scheduled time. You can choose where you and your pet would be most comfortable, whether that be in your house, the porch, backyard, etc.

PET EXAMINATION
We believe in no-fear gentle examinations. We start off talking with the owner to get to know the pet and their general health history while the pet gets used to us as guests in their home. The pets often perceive our exams to be nothing more than affectionate petting and attention. Our vets and techs are also experienced in firm holding and handling of animals for our understandably not so cooperative furry friends.


TREATMENTS AND PRESCRIPTION

After a complete physical examination, the doctor will speak with you about treatment options available and recommended for your pet. We have an online store you can easily buy prescription medications from and have shipped to your home. We also have several common medications on hand to receive same day.

Payment is requested at time of service.  We accept Check, Exact cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.  We also accept electronic payments such as Paypal, Venmo and Zelle.
